DJ Hire present Jukebox Live Welcome to Jukebox Live, our very own music library, where you can browse through our vast music collection online, and create your own playlist which we can play for you on your special night.
We've been busy sorting our music collection into a number of categories, i.e. 50/60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, Recent Hits, Party Favourites & Love Songs.
We have already entered over 4000 songs onto Jukebox Live and are adding tracks all the time. If by any chance one of your favourite songs is not already featured here, you also have the option of requesting upto 5 additional custom songs.
Jukebox Live is a free service we offer free to our clients, where you can choose your own favourite music for your special night. Some couples pick out a few of their favourite tunes and ask us incorporate them into our tried and trusted party mix, other couples choose the whole nights music. Others leave it completely up to us, the professionals, to keep the floor filled. It's completely your choice.
How do i access Jukebox live?
Once we receive your booking deposit, using your email address, we will create a account for you here at our website . Once registered, all you have to do is enter your event date, and your first name as your password on the client login page and you will be admitted, it's as easy as that.
How to use Jukebox Live
You can search for your favourite song, by artist, by song title, by a filtered category (simply choose a category, wait till the page refreshes, then check by artist or song), or you can take a overall look at all the song titles or artists in our collection.
Adding a song to your playlist is easy. When you start searching for a song you will see three coloured buttons on the right hand side of the song title. We call it the traffic light selecter:
Green = We Love This Song Yellow = We Like This Song Red = We hate this song
Simply click the relevant colour and the song will be added to your own personal playlist at the bottom of the page. You also have the option of adding notes, dedications or removing a song at any stage.
How many songs should i pick?
Thats completely up to you. Some couples pick a few favourite songs, some pick the whole nights music, then others leave it up to us, the professionals, to keep the floor busy.
If you do want us to stick solely to your playlist, we suggest you pick at the very minimum 20/25 songs per hour. Although the sytem default here is set at 4 minutes per song, every song is a differrent length, ranging from two and a half minutes, to four minutes. If you pick more tunes rather than less, we can see what's working best on the dance floor on the night, and play the most popular tunes from your list.
When you are happy with your playlist, simply click the "submit it" button, complete the details of your event, and it will be automatically sent on to us.
